The word Baglamukhi is derived from the Sanskrit word “valga” and the word 'Mukha' means the face. The Goddess appears in the yellow attire and has the golden complexion marked by peace and prosperity. The other names of Goddess Baglamukhi are Pitambradevi or BrahmastraRoopini which is being seated on a golden throne in the middle of ocean filled with yellow color lotuses.
